So the next storyline is about to begin.

I opted to make the call that going forward, you guys will only see question from the readers at the end of storyarcs. I figure it’s better to just have a couple pages of questions at the very end of a storyline versus them scattered throughout. Also will make realizing a chapter is closing a bit easier.

The downside to some questions is they’re all usually very good questions that I could go stupid lengths talking about…but those tend to not make for very exciting or interesting comic pages. Maybe I can just hire my husbean to do dramatic readings of them to give them some pizazz.

Kind of a more sentimental update, which coincidentally enough was the last update of 2018. I say this since yeah, at some point this comic is going to reach a conclusion and folks later will only encounter this comic via reading it entirety. Which is a wild thing to think about as I write this.

To whoever reads this…be it a reader hours after I type this or a reader 5 years down the road…I hope life is treating you kindly. And if not, I am rooting that to not be the case for long and for happiness to find you. Or for you to tackle happiness by it’s ankles and drag it screaming into your lair. Whichever is your preference really.

This flashback is likely getting close to wrapping up. I wish I had more to say about it, but I confess as I write this I have just come off a Christmas get-together and so my brain is kind of mush. So there is a chance I will write new words once my think gud gud skills are back. Or perhaps this will stay as the commentary to the end of time! ONLY TIME SHALL TELL!

The thing about Fae is they are notorious for conversation shifts. They could be fireballing an army and suddenly ask the person next to them if that person knows a good recipe for buttered tarts. It’s one of the downsides of having no scale of importance since that recipe to them is just as important as winning a battle.

For those who don’t want to scroll back through a billion comics to back-reference, Mab mentioned having 5 friends and giving 5 boons. So for those at home keeping track…

1: Wildy (A ton of Ice Cream)
2: Biggs (Listed in Comic Above)
3: Fa’Lina (The Power to make the Academy)
4: Jyrras (Wasted his boon to remove Fae bangles)
5: ???? (??????????)

The nice thing about Faerie boons is unlike Genie wishes, the whole making friends first usually puts the Fae into the mindset of wanting to give a helpful wish. The main problem usually comes with defining helpful and not taking things too literally.
